Earlier today I was notified that the independent planning inspector decided that site E (Land at Winterbrook) in Wallingford will be the chosen site for the development of 555 homes. Of course I believe the numbers are still too high for any site selection so we need to keep an eye on future planning applications.

I agree with his site choice – it always made better sense for infrastructure – but I too have concern about the numbers involved.
If it does go ahead with these large numbers we particularly need to push for an additional (incremental) primary school and support for the secondary school to cope with additional numbers, as well as health provision.
